The field of this exquisite pictorial rug with prayer niche motif is decorated with portrait of nour - ali - shah with his drinking bowl and battle - axe, colourful flowers in vases, fruit trees, water pond with fish and birds.
Above the rug under the niche we see a cantouche with the inscription ( ho nour - ali - shah). Weaving portraits of dervishes has begun in the last two centuries, marking a new style in illustrating.
The borders of this rug inscribed with poems in Persian, praising nour ali shah, one of the religious characters of ne, matollahi seet, frame the main field of this rug.
